Pro-worker lawmakers in Kentucky defeated a so-called “right-to-work” bill today. In 15-4 vote, members of the Labor and Industry Committee of the House of Representatives sent a clear message that such attacks on working families will not be tolerated in the Commonwealth. During the hearing, hundreds of workers and their supporters filled the State Capitol to show their opposition to the billionaire-backed bill and its anti-worker sponsors.
