Teamsters Local 89 observers at the Carhaul contract vote count have reported that the NMATA Tentative Agreement has been resoundingly rejected by the membership nationwide.

The national numbers that have been reported to Teamsters Local 89 at this time are:

372 YES to 2503 NO, resulting in a rejection by 87% of national Carhaul members!

Reports additionally state that Teamsters Local 89’s vote numbers at this time are:

14 YES to 365 NO, resulting in a rejection by 96% of Local 89 Carhaul members!

While these numbers have not yet been officially confirmed by the IBT, and therefore are subject to minor change, Carhaul members across the country have sent a clear message that they will not accept this concessionary contract, and demand that it be renegotiated!
