The primary function of the job is to unload and load trailers safely, with a sense of urgency, and in accordance with oral and written instructions, as well as federal and state regulations. The majority of the work is done via a forklift and, if hired, you will be required to become forklift certified.
· Depending on business levels and your availability, the part-time freight handler works 4 or 8 hours a day in the morning or evening, and weekend work may be required.
· Part-time Freight Handlers earn $14.00 an hour.
