Andy Marshall has joined Tim Bunstine of Joint Council 28 in a “form letter” attack on the members of Local 89, Local 623 and those covered under the Western PA Supplement. In the letter, which is identical in every way to Bunstine’s March 17th fax, Marshall makes the same incorrect and false assertions regarding the issues surrounding the Louisville Air, 623, and Western PA supplements. As with the Bunstine Fax, President Zuckerman dismantled the ill-informed and spurious claims contained in the letter.

We find it highly disappointing that Secretary-Treasurer Marshall would stoop to such low attacks on the membership of other locals. We hope he will take the time to properly educate himself on the complex issues facing his Teamster sisters and brothers who continue to fight for the fair contracts they have earned through their hard work. Anything less would be unbecoming of a Teamster officer.
