A document has been released detailing how the General Executive Board of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters manipulated a very obscure provision in the IBT Constitution to force the UPS Contract on the membership. As the document details, Ken Hall and others on the GEB secretly carried out a plot to disenfranchise UPS Teamsters by undemocratically amending Article XII Sec. 6 of the IBT Constitution. 

In this twisting of the Constitution to appease UPS, Ken Hall Inc. blatantly lied to their fellow Teamsters about the issues responsible for continued rejection of the remaining supplements. As Local 89 members know all too well, the 94% rejection of the Air Supplement was the result of a failure of the Company to agree on a number of critical issues, including shuttle compensation, subcontracting, and full-time jobs. Any assertion to the contrary is not only an insult, but also a direct attack against the membership of Teamsters Local 89 as well as thousands of other members under other forced supplements and riders. 


Please take a moment to read the resolution of the General Executive Board of the IBT regarding its forced implementation of the Contract. It is important all members know the lows Ken Hall and his cronies stooped to sell-out their fellow Teamsters.
