Welcome New Teamsters Members!

Dear New Teamster Member,

On behalf of the officers and staff members, I welcome you to Local 89. You have just become a member of the finest trade union in the country and the largest Teamsters Local in the State of Kentucky.

As a Local 89 member, there are many ways we can assist you, in addition to enforcing the terms of your Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Your Business Agent and your Chief Steward are your two closest contacts with the Union and if you have any problems, get in touch with them immediately.

On the pages that follow in this web site, I would like to personally introduce you and your family to the benefits we provide to you, and to the people who are responsible for each of these benefits.

If you should desire a copy of your contract and/or your Local Union Bylaws, they are available to you, upon request at the Teamsters Union Hall. Local 89 maintains an "Open Door" policy and we want you to feel free to call or visit our offices at any time.
