Chuck Priddy
President Retiree Chapter

First, let me introduce myself, I am Chuck Priddy and prior to retiring I had 40 years in with Local 89. Sixteen of the 40 years I worked for Local 89 as a Business Agent and a member of the Executive Board. I retired in 1993 and have been a member of the retiree club since then. I would encourage anyone already retired and anyone contemplating retiring to consider joining our chapter.

We have membership meetings every quarter which is always the 2nd  Wednesday in the months of March, June, September and December. There is always coffee, donuts and fellowship at the meetings and usually we try to have a speaker that is of interest to the retirees and their needs. We have a fish fry in April of every year, an Oktoberfest and a Christmas Dinner.

We offer all dues paying members and their spouses a $2500.00 Accidental Death Benefit. Anyone wishing to join can send a check for $24.00 to the Union Hall made out to Local 89 Retiree Chapter or you can come to one of our meetings and feel free to join then. The $24.00 takes care of your yearly membership dues. Here is a schedule of our upcoming 2006 meetings and events. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
