American Greetings Teamsters voted overwhelmingly to accept a new three-year agreement covering the Bardstown, KY Plant.  Among other improvements, the new contract includes an extra week of vacation for employees with 30 years of service as well as increases in yearly wages, shift premiums, and reimbursements for required footwear.  The Agreement also includes increases in short-term disability and “caps” on maximum health insurance contributions by employees. 

Agent Ben Bramble and the Executive Board of Local 89 would like to thank the hundreds of American Greetings sisters and brothers who came out on a Sunday afternoon to vote on their contract.  Your solidarity and dedication is amazing!
