To Teamsters Local 89 Carhaul Members,

I have sent a letter to General President Hoffa in regard to the scheduled vote on the National Master Automobile Transporters Agreement (NMATA). The information the IBT has provided to date is inadequate and incomplete. It does not sufficiently explain all the proposed changes, most notably in regard to drastic overhauls to the wage rates. I have demanded the IBT provide you and Local 89 with material that fully and accurately discloses all the proposed changes so that you are able to make a properly informed decision prior to voting on this Tentative Agreement. In the interest of transparency, I have attached the aforementioned letter for Teamster Local 89 members to review.
