We are very sorry to report that former Freight Business Agent and Vice President of Teamsters Local 89, Emmett Nall has passed away at the age of 89. Emmett served Teamsters Local 89 for nearly thirty years as a member, an agent and an elected officer. He retired from Teamsters Local 89 in the early 90's and eventually became President of the Retiree's Chapter, in which he was very active.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady and Sons Funeral Home, with the service to be held Thursday at 10 AM.
The officers and staff of Teamsters Local 89 wish to express our deepest condolences to Emmett's family in this difficult time, and wish to let them know he made a lasting impact on our great union.
Due to his long devotion to charitable organizations, Emmett's family has asked for those who are saddened by his lass to donate to Hosparus of Louisville or the American Red Cross in his honor.
