Kentucky 9th District Congressman John Yarmuth (D) visited Jeffboat August 22nd to answer questions and speak with members about important issues facing workers.  Congressman Yarmuth made himself available afterwards to talk with members and answer any remaining questions.  The attending members were highly appreciative of his accessibility and willingness to speak on all of their concerns. 

The Congressman was a major component in the recent awarding of a federal “maritime” grant to Jeffboat.  This grant resulted in the creation of at least 100 more jobs available to area workers.

We want to thank Congressman Yarmuth for fighting for the interests of working families by pushing for greater job creation within the United States.  We need to stand behind lawmakers like Yarmuth, who have and will continue to be on the side of Working Americans.  Congressman Yarmuth stands as a true job-creator for Kentuckiana workers!
