We are happy to welcome Mac Moore to the Local 89 staff! Mac first became a Teamster in October of 1988 when he took his first Local 89 job at Dixie Warehouse. Mac has worked at several different Local 89 shops throughout his career, primarily in Carhaul and Freight.

JUNE 2020 MEMBERSHIP MEETING POSTPONEMENT Local 89 has continued to operate throughout this unprecedented time and was not subject to complete closure by the Governor of Kentucky’s March 22nd, 2020 Executive Order.

ATTENTION MEMBERS OF TEAMSTERS LOCAL 89 As a result of Kentucky’s escalating response to the COVID-19 outbreak and for the health and wellbeing of our members and staff, Local 89 will be temporarily changing our operations. While Local 89 will continue our day to day business, we will be limiting entry into the union hall to staff only.

As industries such as gaming and carhaul are temporarily shutting down, members and the general public who are out of work should be aware of the Government Assistance available to them during this national emergency.
