On Thursday, September 16th United States Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh performed a walkthrough of the UPS LCH facility alongside Teamsters Local 89 Trustees Robert Colone and James DeWeese and met with a large gathering of Package Car Drivers.

Back by popular demand, Teamsters Local 89 will be hosting the TeamCare Family Health Fair on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 from 8AM to 12PM at our union hall. On Friday, August 13th, Teamsters Local 89 filed three Class Action grievances against UPS for their failure to implement the contractual raises and COLA raises that were scheduled for August 1st.

On August 11th, Teamsters Local 89 members at Ryder Truck Rental unanimously ratified a new three-year agreement that is considered to be one of the best in their history. Economic highlights include wage increases of 4%, 3%, and 3%, an increase in Lead Worker pay and extra pay for CAT certified workers.

Teamsters Local 89 is proud to officially announce our endorsement and support for Charles Booker for United States Senate in the 2022 election cycle. “We are proud to have been the very first union to meet with Charles Booker and offer our endorsement,” said President Fred Zuckerman.

A valid photo ID will be required to ensure you are a member in good standing. Tickets will be $5 dollars each. You may purchase a maximum of six tickets. All purchases must be made by cash only. There will be no buffet tickets available this year.
