While Local 89 will continue our day to day business, we will be limiting entry into the union hall to staff only.

As industries such as gaming and carhaul are temporarily shutting down, members and the general public who are out of work should be aware of the Government Assistance available to them during this national emergency.

ATTENTION TEAMSTERS LOCAL 89 MEMBERS AT UPS WORLDPORT: --THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED AS NEW INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE-- Over the past several days Teamsters Local 89 UPS Air Agents have been in frequent communication with management at UPS Worldport to ask questions and ascertain what the Company is planning to do to better protect their workforce during the COVID-19 outbreak.

NOTICE OF INTENDED BUSINESS OPERATIONS DURING CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) OUTBREAK As of now, Teamsters Local 89 will continue its full operations during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Operations will continue subject to any future federal and/or state order.  Therefore, the union hall will keep its regularly scheduled hours.

ATTENTION TEAMSTERS LOCAL 89 RETIREES Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Local 89 Retirees Building located next door to our Union Hall will be closed effective immediately and until further notice. This decision was made in consideration of the health and safety of our retired members. Thank you all, and stay safe and healthy.
